Aydé Avila

Aydé oversees our Community Organizing team. She is passionate about education and is committed to engaging families and students from multicultural backgrounds in real time discussions.   

Her goal is to ensure that families have a voice on the issues they are facing today so their children can receive the quality education that ALL children deserve.

 Aydé is actively serving on the State Advisory Council for Parent Involvement in Education (SACPIE).   Prior to joining RISE Colorado, Aydé worked sixteen years for Aurora Public Schools and has more than twenty years of experience working with the Aurora Community. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

In her free time, Aydé likes traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family!
