Jennifer Romero

Jenny Romero is a Community Navigator with the Latinx Coalition. During her studies at the University of Colorado Denver, she was involved in student activism through the Latinx, Indigenous, and pre-health student organizations. Fueled by her desire to stay connected and work directly with her community, Jenny joined the RISE Colorado team in 2020 to empower families like her own to advocate for quality education. She is particularly interested in introducing first-generation students to health careers to address health disparities unique to their communities. She will continue her education at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine in Fall 2022.
