Mya Win

Mya Win has been involved with Rise Colorado since 2013. She became a part-time Community Navigator right after the pandemic to help support out Karen, Karenni and Burmese communities.  Mya Win has a big dream and goal for her family and community to have an equal opportunity for education and be successful. 

Mya also works for APS as a Family Liaison for Special Populations since 2012. She is actively involved with her community to support them with their kids’ education.

Mya Win is from Burma (Myanmar) and came to the United States as a refugee in 2007. She has a broad understanding of her community’s strengths, values and unique needs. Even though she's a handful in her full-time job, she still wants to put more of her time, efford, and dedication into supporting her family and her community.
