Viridiana Rosas
Viridiana Rosas is a Community Navigator for the Hispanic community. She was born and raised in Mexico where she completed her studies as a business administrator. Coming to live in the USA at age 22, not knowing the language and facing common challenges from an immigrant, she knows firsthand how hard this transition can be for everyone in the same situation. Her main goal is to help parents of the Hispanic community navigate the school system and make them feel protected and guided in the process, especially when they need to raise their voices about inadequate education, so they don't feel alone. She believes in empathy as the most important value as human beings.
Before working for Rise Colorado, she was in the financial industry for 8 years educating people on money management, mainly working with Hispanic families. She also worked for the Arapahoe County Recorder Office for almost 2 years where she had the opportunity to also serve people from diverse backgrounds.
